The Acute Liver Failure Study Group (ALFSG) collected prospective data and biospecimens from participants with acute liver failure (ALF) and acute liver injury (ALI). The group comprised 33 sites in the U.S. and Canada, and followed participants over two decades. More than 100 research articles have been published by investigators and collaborators from around the world on this rare condition.
