The Chronic Prostatitis Collaborative Research Network (CPCRN) was comprised of clinical centers treating participants with chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS). The network was established with the goal of studying and improving diagnosis and treatment of the condition. The CPCRN has conducted several clinical trials to investigate the safety and efficacy of various treatments for CP/CPPS, and has discovered that CP/CPPS is complex, affecting men of all ages and demographics.
