The Multidisciplinary Approach to the Study of Chronic Pelvic Pain (MAPP) Research Network was established to holistically research urologic chronic pelvic pain syndrome (UCPPS). Specifically, the MAPP Research Network investigates interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS) and chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS), and potentially related conditions including irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
