General Description
The Urinary Incontinence Treatment Network (UITN) was established in 2000 and was comprised of a biostatistical coordinating center, nine multidisciplinary clinical centers, and investigators focused on urology and urogynecology. The UITN developed and conducted high impact clinical trials to assess the safety and efficacy of urinary incontinence treatments for women. The network also aimed to develop standardized outcome measures and evaluate diagnostic measures for urinary incontinence, including preoperative urodynamics.
